“We” means the company Big Wheels studio, represented by Frederic Devanlay.
”You” means you – the curious visitor, the customer, the newsletter subscriber, in short: each living individual that visits the site.

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation and is was introduced to unify all EU member states’ approaches to data regulation, ensuring all data protection laws are applied identically in every country within the EU. It will protect EU citizens from organisations using their data irresponsibly and puts them in charge of what information is shared, where and how it’s shared.

If you use this website, various pieces of personal data will be gathered. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and what we use the data for.
Personal data is any data from which you could be identified. In the case of our website this encompasses your name, your billing address, your email, your IP-address, informations about your browser and operating system.
All data that you submit is solely used to process the requested services that are offered at the Big Wheels studio webpage. The submitted data are only passed on to third parties if this is required to fulfill the requested service.

In order to offer and provide the full potential of our webstore we may ask you for certain personal data, depending on the kind of service you request. Below you find a description of the services and what personal datas are necessary to use them.
Contact Form
Our contact form service is offered in accordance with GDPR, Art.6 (1)(b). When you send us a message from our contact page we only ask for your email address, the subject of your message and of course the message itself. These informations are necessary to start a proper conversation that aims to answer your request. However, in order to personalize the conversation you can also send us your name but this is voluntary. All messages we receive from our contact page will only be used to process the respective subject of your message. During the evolving conversation we will not send any off-topic informations like advertising or product recommendations. Once the subject is processed to your full satisfaction the conversation will be stored for 6 month in order to pick it up if further questions concerning the subject occur.
Newsletter
Our newsletter subscription service is offered in accordance with GDPR, Art.6 (1)(a). In order to offer you a satisfying newsletter service we work together with MailChimp When you subscribe to our newsletter we only process your data with your consent per Art.6(1)(a), GDPR. We only ask for your email address which is necessary in order to send you newsletters at all. Also you have to pass through a double opt-in procedure. What does it mean? In a first step you have to give consent that you have read our Privacy Policy (the document you are reading right now) and you have to apply your email address where you want to receive newsletters. In a second step you will receive an email with further instructions and a link that you should click in order to complete the subscription process. You can unsubscribe (revoke consent) from our newsletter or update your preferences at any time by using personal links that are included at the bottom of each newsletter. If you click on “Unsubscribe” you are simply removed from the list and will no longer receive emails from us. If you click on “Preferences” you can also unsubscribe but furthermore you can update your email address and name and you can determine if your views and clicks of the received newsletter are collected or not. However, as we do not ask for your name during newsletter subscription, it is not necessary to append it during the update of your preferences.
Purchase and Account
Our user account service is offered in accordance with GDPR, Art.6 (1)(c)(f)
When you purchase at Big Wheels studio we would ask for your First and Last Name, email address and billing address.
These informations are necessary in order to send you links to your downloads and a receipt that is compliant with TAX authorities.
However, in order to provide you with a personal purchase history you can also create a personal account during the checkout process or from the account page.
The account data, also known as login credentials, are automatically sent to a new customer/user upon registration, except the password. The user/customer shall treat these credentials as strictly confidential as Big Wheels studio shall accept no responsibility for the use of this data.
In order to be compliant with French TAX authorities we need to maintain a record of all your purchases.
This includes your First and Last Name, your email address, the date of the purchase, what items were ordered, how much was paid and the IP address used to make the purchase.

Server log files
In order to ensure smooth and secure operation our website provider automatically stores and collects information that your browser transmits to us in so called “server log files”. These informations encompass:

* Time of the server request
* IP address
These informations will not be combined with data from other sources.
Payment
In order to securely process your payments we work together with Paypal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.22-24 Boulevard Royal L-2449 Luxembourg).
Whenever you click the “Checkout with Paypal” button you will be leaving the Big Wheels studio domain by being redirected to Paypal where you need to login with your according email and password. We DO NOT receive these credentials nor do we have access to them or your Paypal account. Also we DO NOT receive any information about your credit card, your account balance or transaction history. If you click on the play button of an embedded Youtube video (i-frame), your browser establishes a connection to the Youtube servers from where the product video is then transmitted into the iframe on our website. By starting an iFrame Youtube receives information about which pages of Big Wheels studio website you have opened. Soundcloud
